Laguna Coast Wilderness Park

Laguna Coast Wilderness Park is 6,300 acres of open space wilderness rich in resource diversity. RJM completed the Resource Management Plan, which was developed in accordance with the State of California Natural Communities Conservation Plan/Habitat Conservation Plan program. Included in the plan are policies for managing and monitoring the reserve system, research, habitat restoration and enhancement, fire management, public access and recreation, infrastructure, existing uses and interim management.

Goals for park planning and management were developed through a series of community workshops. Resource management goals were also developed to further define the balance between public access and resource protection, enhancement and restoration.
