Description: Construction was completed on this 1/2 acre wet playground in November 2003. The design concept is an interpretation of wave actions created when throwing a handful of pebbles into a pond. Symmetric rings of colorful concrete create the wave pattern. Water recirculates but never accumulates on the surface, creating a cool summer play area for neighborhood residents. Bench seating, picnic tables, pathways, and shade trees were added for comfortable trips to the park for entire families.
