Squaw Valley Park is a 20-acre park located in the alpine forest behind the Olympic rings of the Squaw Valley Ski Area. The public park includes the following program facilities: a multi-use bikeway extension and trail staging area for the renown “Western States Trail”, a full-sized soccer field utilizing resilient artificial turf, two playground areas, restrooms, pedestrian bridges that avoid disturbing wetland areas, picnic areas and associated landscaping. The parking area is designed for multiple use of autos, buses and equestrian trailers in order to accommodate a variety of large events.
